Osun: Action Alliance Guber candidate, Farinloye empowers supporters  The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the August 15 gorvernorship election in Osun State, Hon Lanre Farinloye has empowered no fewer than 2,000 members of the party and supporters drawn across the 30 Local Government Areas of the state. The gorvernorship candidate at the empowerment programme presented different items including foods to the party faithful and loyalists. The programme held at the state secretariat of the party in Osogbo, the state capital had the presence of the national leaders of the party and members of the State Working Committee of the party led by the state chairman, Prince Araoye Oyewole Kazeem. Insecurity: Parents Teachers Association calls for govt intervention  The National Parents Teachers Association of Nigeria (NAPTAN) has condemned the escalating insecurity in some parts of the country. Also, the association, which is the umbrella body of all the parents of both public and private school students in the country called on the Federal Government to address the hike in the prices of petroleum products. Action Alliance elects new executives in Osun Osun State chapter of the Action Alliance (AA) on Saturday elected Prince Araoye Oyewole as the state chairman of the party. Other executive members of the party were also elected at the party's congress held at its state secretariat, Ogo-Oluwa in Osogbo, the state capital. The newly elected executives of the party include Agboola Oluwasina (Deputy Chairman), Ilufoye Fayoyiwa (Secretary, Solomon Gold (Deputy Secretary), Olarinoye Adedamola (Organizing Secretary), Olagunju Oyinlola (Deputy Organizing Secretary) and Akinboboye Daniel (Public Relations Officer).
