Osun: Action Alliance Guber candidate, Farinloye empowers supporters 
The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the August 15 gorvernorship election in Osun State, Hon Lanre Farinloye has empowered no fewer than 2,000 members of the party and supporters drawn across the 30 Local Government Areas of the state.

The gorvernorship candidate at the empowerment programme presented different items including foods to the party faithful and loyalists.

The programme held at the state secretariat of the party in Osogbo, the state capital had the presence of the national leaders of the party and members of the State Working Committee of the party led by the state chairman, Prince Araoye Oyewole Kazeem.

Speaking at the programme, the gorvernorship candidate said his decision to empower the party faithful and his supporters across the state was a way of giving back to the society.

He expressed his willingness to serve the state with the fear of God and use his wisdom, knowledge and exposure to develop the state.

The governorship hopeful who reiterated his commitment to an egalitarian society, assured of an all inclusive government of giving the opportunity to serve as the Governor of the state.

In his remarks, the state chairman of the party, Prince Araoye enjoined the people of the state to support the Action Alliance to bring responsible and responsive governance to the state, adding that the party has all it takes to deliver the state from the shackles of maladministration and deceit.

He called on the masses of the state to pull their weight behind the Action Alliance and vote massively for the party come August 15 this year.

He sensitized the party faithful about the campaigns of the party, which he said will soon take off across the state, disclosing that the national chairman of the party, Hon Adekunle Rufai Omoaje will lead the party to victory.

Osun 2026: ADC endorses Agiri for Deputy Governorship position  The leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State has endorsed Hon (Mrs) Oluwayemisi Temitope Agiri as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in the August 8, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
