Osun Guber: ADC local govt chairmen declare support for Salaam 
The Forum of Local Governments Chairmen of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State has declared total support for the gorvernorship candidate of the party in the state, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam.

The forum which comprises of all the chairmen of the party in all the 30 Local Government Areas of the state also expressed readiness to work for the victory of Salaam in the forthcoming gorvernorship election.

The chairman of the forum, who is also the chairman of the party in Obokun Local Government Area of the state, Hon Adewumi Olufemi Famoyin in a statement made available to newsmen reiterated the commitment of the party's local government Chairmen to the victory of Salaam in the next gorvernorship election.

Famoyin who assured that the local government chairmen are prepared to work in unity and cohesion, called on all members of the party in the state to unite together for the overall benefit of the party in the governorship race.

He stressed the need for inclusiveness within the party, just as he called on the leadership of the party to ensure that all members are carried along in the activities of the party ahead of the polls.

Besides, he encouraged all members of the party to participate actively in all the campaign activities of the party, even as he called for intensive campaign at the grassroots level.

He warned all members of the party, especially the party leaders across all the local government areas against anti party activities.

Famoyin also expressed the commitment of all the chairmen of the party in all the local government areas across the state to the programme and policies of the party.

He expressed optimism that the gorvernorship candidate of the party, Dr Salaam and his running mate, Mrs Temitope Agiri will win the August 15 gorvernorship election.

The ADC leader who called for unity among members of the party, called on all members of the party in all the 30 Local Government Areas of the state to work together for the victory of the party in the next governorship election.

Osun 2026: ADC endorses Agiri for Deputy Governorship position  The leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State has endorsed Hon (Mrs) Oluwayemisi Temitope Agiri as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in the August 8, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
