Major RAT emerges Osun ADC chairman 
A seasoned politician from Ile-Ife in Osun State, Major Raphael Ayotunde Towobola, popularly called Major RAT has emerged the chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State 

Towobola was elected the state chairman of the party at the state congress of the party held recently at the state secretariat of the party in Osogbo, the state capital.

At the congress, other members of the State Working Committee of the party were elected under the supervision of officials from the national secretariat of the party in Abuja.

The chairman, Osun State congress committee, Hon Kayode Ariyo who coordinated the congress expressed satisfaction with the conduct of all the delegates to the congress, lauding the peaceful conduct of the exercise.

In his acceptance speech, the new chairman of the party appreciated the resilience and unwavering commitment of all the party members to the growth of the party at both the state and national levels.

He assured members of a new dawn in the party, promising that he will ensure that the party becomes the most popular political party in the state and also ensure that it wins the forthcoming gorvernorship election in the state.

He commended all stakeholders, party faithful and members for their peaceful conduct and active participation, which contributed immensely to the success of the Congress.

The chairman called in all members of the party to work for the unity of the party and strive to ensure that the party wins the forthcoming gorvernorship election in the state.

He stressed that the gorvernorship candidate of the party, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam remains the best choice for the people of the state and thereby called on the masses of the state to vote enmass for him in the gubernatorial poll holding on August 15 this year.
