Mrs Agiri visits Osun ADC leaders, primises to work for party's progress
A deputy governorship aspirant of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State, Hon (Mrs) Temitope Yemisi Agiri on Friday visited the leaders of the party in the state including the gorvernorship candidate of the party, Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam.
Also, the deputy governorship aspirant paid a visit to the gorvernorship candidate of the party, Rt Hon Najeem Folasayo Salaam at his residence in Osogbo.
Accompanied by a national leader of the party, Engr Ezekiel Olajide Adeniji, Mrs Agiri had earlier paid similar visit to the state chairman of the party, Dr Charles Omidiji at the party's state secretariat in Osogbo.
Recieving Agiri at the state secretariat of the party, the ADC state chairman, Dr Omidiji emphasized the place of love and unity in the party, stressing that the party can only thrive in unity and love.
Omidiji called on all members of the party in all the 30 Local Government Areas of the state to work together in unity with the main purpose of winning the August 8 governorship election.
While receiving Agiri and her entourage at his residence, Dr Salaam called on all the leaders and members of the party in the state to work collectively for the overall success of the party.
He said the ADC is determined to take over the reins of government, adding that the dream of the party can only be achieved through the collective support of all members of the party.
In her remarks, Mrs Agiri expressed gratitude to all the leaders of the party in the state, saying that the party comprises of determined and committed members who are ready to work for the growth and development of the party.
She expressed confidence that the ADC will win the next governorship election in Osun State even as she expressed her willingness to serve as the deputy governor, promising to support all the programmes and manifesto of the ADC.
She enjoined all members of the party in the state to put the party's interest above their own selfish interest for the good of the party.
