Famoyin, Awoniyi dissociate selves from meeting with Adeoti 
The Chairman, Forum of local government chairmen of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State, Hon Adewumi Olufemi Famoyin has dissociated himself from any parley with the former Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti.

Hon Famoyin who is the state coordinator of the Hon (Mrs) TEMITOPE Yemisi Agiri campaign organization, in a statement issued in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Saturday said he was not part of any meeting held at the residence of Adeoti or in any other place.

He said the Secretary of the Forum of local government chairmen of the ADC Comrade Bidemi Awoniyi was equally unaware of the meeting allegedly held at the residence of Adeoti.

It was alleged that some leaders of the ADC in the state recently met with Alhaji Adeoti.

Hon Famoyin said he's absolutely committed to the ADC, and as the coordinator of Hon (Mrs) Agiri Campaign organization in the state is determined to work for the victory of the party.

While dissociating the state secretary of the forum from the said meeting, Famoyin stated that the ADC is determined to wrestle power from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come August this year.

He noted that the forum of local government chairmen of the ADC under his leadership is working day and night to ensure that Dr Najeem Folasayo Salaam who is the governorship candidate of the party wins overwhelmingly in the forthcoming election.

He appealed to the leaders and stakeholders of the party to consider Hon (Mrs) Agiri as the deputy governorship candidate of the party, saying she has all it takes to serve in the late capacity.

Court grants Action Alliance order to serve INEC, Yakubu Contempt Form through substituted service  The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital has granted the Action Alliance (AA) an order for substituted service of contempt form (Form 49) on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its national chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu.
