Osun 2026: Brilliant Action Movement endorses Mrs Agiri for Deputy Governorship position 
A political group, Brilliant Action Movement has endorsed Hon (Mrs) Yemisi Temitope Agiri as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the next Governorship election in Osun State.
The group in a statement by its state coordinator, Hon Adewumi Olufemi Famoyin said the choice of.Mrs Agiri is the best for the position of Deputy Governor in ADC.

Hon Famoyin stated that the Brilliant Action Movement (BAM) is a grassroots-oriented political movement that has existed and remained consistent in its ideology since 2014.

He appealed to the leadership of the ADC and stakeholders of the party in the to consider the choice of Mrs Agiri for the post of the deputy governor in the coming gubernatorial election.

He added that the group has continued to play vital roles in political mobilization and advocacy for credible leadership across Osun State.

"The Brilliant Action Movement respectfully appeal to all ADC shareholders and critical stakeholders in Osun State to exercise wisdom, foresight and inclusiveness in the selection of a credible and people-oriented Deputy Governorship candidate who will complement the party’s governorship ticket and strengthen its chances in the forthcoming election."

"In line with our consultations, internal resolutions and wide-reaching grassroots engagements, the Brilliant Action Movement wishes and has unanimously agreed to support the candidacy of Hon. (Mrs) Oluwayemisi Temitope Agiri for the position of Deputy Governor on the ADC platform. 

"We are confident in her competence, character, political experience and ability to add values to the ticket, while fostering unity and broad acceptability across the state.

"The Movement boasts of coordinators across all Local Government Areas in Osun State, with strong grassroots structures ready to mobilize, sensitize and deliver support for candidates who represent credibility, integrity and progressive leadership.

"We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the success of ADC in Osun State and assure the party leadership of our readiness to work tirelessly with all stakeholders to ensure victory at the polls.

"Together, with unity of purpose and the right leadership choices, Osun State will move forward," Famoyin added.

KIDVARC schools celebrate 40th/30th anniversary  Authorities of the KIDVARC Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Iree has announced activities for the 40th anniversary of KIDVARC Nursery and Primary School and 30th anniversary of the KIDVARC High School both in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. Court grants Action Alliance order to serve INEC, Yakubu Contempt Form through substituted service  The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital has granted the Action Alliance (AA) an order for substituted service of contempt form (Form 49) on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its national chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu.
