MAOLUD NABIY: OTUNBA AWOTUNDE FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS


The Chairman, Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Osun State and Executive Chairman Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Sarafadeen Abiodun Awotunde has felicitated with Muslims in the state on this year's Maolud Nabiy.

The Osun ALGON Chairman expresses gratitude to God for the privilege to witness this year's Maolud Nabiy.

He also urged Muslims across the state to use the occasion of this year's Maolud Nabiy to pray for the current administration in the state and also pray for peace, development and progress of the state.

Otunba Awotunde who is the Saraki Adinni of Ikirun land also called for the support of all citizens of the state for the overall progress and development of the state, stressing the need to support the administration of Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke with fervent prayers.

He reiterated the desire of the Governor to turnaround the state within the shortest possible time and therefore solicited for the support of all and sundry.

He enjoined Muslims to use the opportunity of this year's Maolud Nabiy to pray for Governor Adeleke, his government and the entire state as a whole.

KIDVARC schools celebrate 40th/30th anniversary  Authorities of the KIDVARC Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Iree has announced activities for the 40th anniversary of KIDVARC Nursery and Primary School and 30th anniversary of the KIDVARC High School both in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. Also, the 15th remembrance anniversary of the Proprietor of the schools, Dr Samuel Oyedokun Omotoso will be held during the anniversary celebration. Court grants Action Alliance order to serve INEC, Yakubu Contempt Form through substituted service  The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital has granted the Action Alliance (AA) an order for substituted service of contempt form (Form 49) on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its national chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu. The Action Alliance and some members of the party had through a motion exparte dated 14th April, 2025 sought an order for substituted service of Form 49 on INEC and its national chairman.
