Eid-El-Kabir: Eburu felicitates with Muslims

As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year's Eid-El-Kabir, a prominent traditional ruler in Osun State, the Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji 11 has called on Muslims and adherents of other faiths to unite together for the developments desired to be achieved.

The monarch also called on Muslims to pray for the progress and unity of the country, just as he urged every individual to ensure that they strive for the unity and progress of their domains.

Specifically, the Eburu of Iba called on the people of Iba both at home and in the diaspora to live in unity for the progress desired for the town to be achieved, stressing that in unity lies the strength of the town.

The renowned educationist who is a Professor of Information Communications Technology advised all and sundry to collectively wage war against insecurity as government alone cannot win the battle against insecurity in the country.

He specifically called on the people of Iba in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State to live in unity and peace and work together for the progress and development of the town.

While felicitating with Muslim faithful in Iba, the Eburu stressed the need for all the Muslims to always demonstrate the act of sacrifice which is the major significance of the Eid-El-Kabir festival.

Also, he enjoined all adherents of Islam in Iba to use the occasion of this year's Eid-El-Kabir to pray fervently for the town.
