OSUN LEAGUE OF VETERAN JOURNALISTS ELECT NEW EXCO.

The League of Veteran Journalists in Osun State now has a new Leadership. 
The League rose from its monthly meeting in Osogbo (yesterday, 12th March) with the election of a six man Executive Council to stear  affairs for the next three years.
Sequel to the election (held on Wednesday the 12th of February 2025) the new Executive Council for Veteran Journalists in the State has Smolette Adetoyese Shittu-Alamu as  Chairman and Olatunji Idowu  as Secretary. 
Other newly elected Officers of the League are Dunmade Durojaiye, Treasurer, Sanya Fadipe Spokesman, Osu Babarinde Financial Secretary and Samuel Adeyekun who is the new Welfare Officer. 
In his acceptance speech at his swearing-in, the new Chairman, Smolette Adetoyese Shittu-Alamu promised to lead a transparent executive that will showcase inclusiveness, direction and  accountability. 
 Shittu-Alamu who was untill his election the Spokesman of the League assured that his leadership will also not deviate from the agenda-setting role which is a core responsibility of the profession of journalism.
