IFELODUN PDP MEDIA TEAM HONOURS PROMINENT PDP LEADERS
AS PROF OWOLABI HAILS AWOTUNDE
Prominent leaders of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Osun State were on Sunday honoured with awards of excellence by the party's media team.

The event, held at the local government secretariat of the party had chieftains of the party including the Former Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon Sarafadeen Abiodun Awotunde and the chairman of the party in the local government, Hon. Samuel Adeboye in attendance.

The guest lecturer at the event, Prof. Sunday Owolabi from the Babcock University, Ilisan -Remo charged members of the media team of the party to be objective and professional in the discharge of their duties.

Prof Owolabi who stressed the importance of news dissemination in building a vibrant society, urged the party's media team to work diligently for the development of the party in particular and Ifelodun Local Government in general.

He urged them to promote peace, unity, love and oneness while discharging their duties, even as he called for improvement in their activities to enhance adequate publicity for the party and by extension the local government.

The Elende of Ekoende and the Eesa of Ikirun who graced the occasion called on the PDP to ensure the development of all the communities in Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state. 

Speaking at the event, Hon Awotunde hailed the enormous efforts of the party's media team, saying that their relentless efforts have contributed in no small way to the development of the party in the local government.

Hon Awotunde who is the chairmanship candidate of the PDP in the February local government election, enjoined members of the media team to remain steadfast and loyal to the party, even as he acknowledged their resourcefulness and sagacity.

Some of the award recipients at the event were Alhaji Oluyinka Ajibolu, Prince Bola Ajao, Yeye Monisade Awotunde, Hon Lukman Opawuyi and Alhaja Adebanke Lawal among others.

One of the recipients, Alhaji Ajibolu appreciated the PDP media team for the honour done him and pledged to serve the party more and also continue to do his best for humanity.

He urged members of the party in the local government to work hard to ensure that the PDP wins the next local government election in Ifelodun Local Government Area.

KIDVARC schools celebrate 40th/30th anniversary  Authorities of the KIDVARC Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Iree has announced activities for the 40th anniversary of KIDVARC Nursery and Primary School and 30th anniversary of the KIDVARC High School both in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. Court grants Action Alliance order to serve INEC, Yakubu Contempt Form through substituted service  The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital has granted the Action Alliance (AA) an order for substituted service of contempt form (Form 49) on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its national chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu. The Action Alliance and some members of the party had through a motion exparte dated 14th April, 2025 sought an order for substituted service of Form 49 on INEC and its national chairman.
