Christmas: Eburu felicitates with Christians

A prominent traditional ruler in Osun State, the Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji 11 has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of this year's Christmas celebration.

The monarch who highlighted the essence of Christmas in human life, said the basic essence of Christmas which is love to mankind should be extended to all individuals during and after the Christmas celebration.

In his Christmas message, the renowned educationist urged Nigerians and christians in particular to emulate Jesus Christ in their dealings and relationship with others.

He encouraged Nigerians to demonstrate love and extend other virtues of Jesus Christ in their day to day activities, stressing the need for all and sundry to live together in peace and unity.

Specifically, Oba Okunoye called on christians in his domain to use the occasion of this year's Christmas to pray for unity, love and development of the town, saying that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere devoid of unity and peace.

Also, he stressed the need for the people to live together in peace and harmony, saying these are part of the virtues of Jesus Christ who is the reason for the season.

While rejoicing with Christians all over the world, the monarch advised them not to be carried away by the euphoria of the season but use the occasion to pray for the nation.

KIDVARC schools celebrate 40th/30th anniversary  Authorities of the KIDVARC Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Iree has announced activities for the 40th anniversary of KIDVARC Nursery and Primary School and 30th anniversary of the KIDVARC High School both in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. Court grants Action Alliance order to serve INEC, Yakubu Contempt Form through substituted service  The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital has granted the Action Alliance (AA) an order for substituted service of contempt form (Form 49) on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its national chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu. The Action Alliance and some members of the party had through a motion exparte dated 14th April, 2025 sought an order for substituted service of Form 49 on INEC and its national chairman.
