Seye Talented receives Aagba Prominent Musician award
A popular musician in Osun State, Mr Aborisade Martins Oluseye popularly called Seye Talented will on Saturday be honoured with the prestigious award of excellence by Aagba community in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

The music exponent who hails from Aagba will be honoured as Agba Prominent Musician at the 2024 Aagba Day celebration.

A highly versatile and multi talented Aborisade Martins Oluseye joined the music industry as a musician with unique style of music in January 1995 and he has since then remained active in the industry with many achievements to show for it.

Popularly called "Talented" as his stage name , Aborisade Martins Oluseye, a multi talented music exponent is into juju brand of music and this has taken him to the length and breath of the country.  

It's on record that Seue Talented as he's fondly called was the person musician from Aagbo to go into juju music, as the ancient town of Aagba was before now known for Apala, Ajiwere, waka and fuji music. 

It's however on record that Seye Talented in 1995 started juju and high life in Aagba and the people of Aagba and environs have consistently patronized the new type of music through his efforts despite challenges from different sides.

Aborisade Martins Oluseye, a devout catholic was the first organist of St Anthony's Catholic Church, Aagba. He was also the  Assistant Choir Master between 1998 and 1999. He was made the Acting Chiormaster in the year 2000. 

A graduate of Mass communication from the Osun State Polytecnic Iree, Aborisade Martins Oluseye released his first music album in 2003 and it's titled "New song" (orin titun) produced by Topla communications during his internship with the IT Nigeria Tribune in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Seye Talented is happily married and blessed with beautiful wife and wonderful children. 

To the glory of God, Seye Talented was the Chairman, Performing Musicians Association of Nigerian (PMAN) Boripe Local Government branch and an executive member of the Board of Governors of PMAN in Osun State.

Special appreciation goes to the our father, the incumbent Alaagba Of Aagba, Oba Rufus Olayinka Ogunwole who paved way to tap the talent of music from his mother's side. Also special thanks equally goes to Aagba Development Council, the Aagba Day 2024 Central Planning Committee, the Alaagba in council and all the sons and daughters of Aagba for counting me worthy to be honoured  and recognized as Aagba Prominent Musician.

KIDVARC schools celebrate 40th/30th anniversary  Authorities of the KIDVARC Nursery, Primary and High Schools, Iree has announced activities for the 40th anniversary of KIDVARC Nursery and Primary School and 30th anniversary of the KIDVARC High School both in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State. Court grants Action Alliance order to serve INEC, Yakubu Contempt Form through substituted service  The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital has granted the Action Alliance (AA) an order for substituted service of contempt form (Form 49) on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and its national chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu. The Action Alliance and some members of the party had through a motion exparte dated 14th April, 2025 sought an order for substituted service of Form 49 on INEC and its national chairman.
