Ataoja of Osogbo promises total support for UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital's CMD
The Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Larooye has pledged his utmost support for the administration of the new Chief Medical Director (CMD) of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Osogbo, Dr Babatunde Adeola Afolabi
The New CMD, Dr Afolabi had paid a Courtesy visit to the Ataoja of Osogbo, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Larooye in his palace.
The monarch declared that he would give all the needed support to the new CMD for him to succeed in office.
The CMD in his speech expressed his commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services to the community. He added that the hospital's mission aligns with the vision of HRM Oba Larooye for a healthier and more prosperous society.
He then recounted some of the key areas his administration will focus on which includes; "Quality Healthcare" that is providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality medical care to all members of the community, so also "Community Engagement" by collaborating with local organizations and leaders to promote health education, disease prevention, and community development and "Staff Development" which involves investing in the training and capacity building of our healthcare professionals to ensure they provide the best possible care.
Speaking further, Dr. Afolabi said he recognize the importance of partnership and collaboration in achieving the goals as he looks forward to working closely with the palace and other stakeholders to address the health challenges facing the community.
He thanked Kabiyesi and promised his commitment to regular visits and open communication.
The visit was witnessed by the Management team of UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital and the Ataoja in council.
