Hails Gov Adeleke's two years in office
The achievements recorded in two years of Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration are unmatched benchmarks in the history of Osun state.
Expressing this opinion today in a message of congratulations to Governor Adeleke,his Special Adviser on Rural Water and Enviromental Sanitation Agency, Chief Lanre Odelade said government's performance within two years is unique in democracy dividends' delivery.
Noting that Governor Adeleke has left nothing untouched in human, infrastructural and capital projects,Chief Odelade remarks that the policy focus and implementation shows remarkable commitment to responsiveness and accountability
Chief Odelade commended Governor Adeleke's prompt payment of monthly salaries,arrears of salaries, gratuities and pensions to public sector workers as amazing despite lean finances.
"The disbursement of over #47 billion to pensioners in the old and Contributory schemes within two years shows Governor Adeleke's priority of workers' welfare and commitment to poverty eradication and human empowerment."
The Special Adviser said Government's rural transformation programs on health and water supply particularly demonstrate commitment to safety of lives through heathy living.
"The state government's rehabilitation of primary heath care facilities across the local government areas,and provisions of motorized boreholes have kept communicable diseases at bay."
"This is a fulfilment of his pledge to keeping people heathy and safe".He added.
Chief Odelade also refered to the urban renewal policy of Government as spectacular.
According to him,the initiative has opened the state to opportunities of short,medium and long term investments.
"The opening up of semi-urban areas of the state with rural feeder roads,and simultaneous constructions of dualized highways with flyovers in the three senatorial districts point to Government's foresight in economic turn around of the state that will secure the future of her citizens."
The Special Adviser express hopes that RUWESA will experience a greater turn around as the state government approves the takeoff of the Agency's rebranding program in next year's budget.
The RUWESA boss charged people of the state to rally round Governor Ademola Adeleke to enable him finish his first term on good credentials that will ensure his second term in office.
