Deaconess Ayangbile declares for Osun Assembly seat
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Deaconess Sola Ayangbile on Friday declared her intention to contest the state House of Assembly election under the platform of the party.

Deaconess Ayangbile who is the Osun State Welfare Secretary of the APC is seeking the support of the party to represent Ifelodun state constituency in the state House of Assembly.

The ace politician who hails from ward nine, Iba in Ifelodun Local Government Area said she has consulted widely with leaders of the party at both the ward and local government levels before she finally made her ambition public.

Speaking at the palace of the Eburu of Iba where she met with the traditional chiefs of the town, Deaconess Ayangbile said she is the best person for the position.

She said Iba community deserves to occupy the seat of the lawmaker to represent Ifelodun state constituency at the state parliament as none of the community that makes up the constituency is inferior to the other.

She therefore called on members of the APC in Ifelodun state constituency to vote for her at the party's primary election, even as she urged all eligible voters in the constituency to support her ambition.

In his remarks, the Eburu of Iba, Oba (Prof) Adekunle Adeogun Okunoye Oyedeji 11 who spoke through the Eesa of iba said the need for politicians in the town to place the interest of the town above their personal interests.
The monarch who expressed gladness over the ambition of Deaconess Ayangbile, enjoined all residents of the town to work together in unity for the overall development of the town.

The members representing wards nine  and 10 in the caretaker management Committee, Ifelodun North Area Office, Hon Soji Oyebode and Lanre Okunoye respectively accompanied the House of Assembly aspirant and prayed for her success in the election.
